Kerassentials Complaints: BBB F Rating and Refund Terms

The clearest public signal on Kerassentials complaints is a BBB F rating for Kerassentials Company, which is not accredited. We could not open the complaint details or Trustpilot, so those stay NOT checked. The refund terms are the most likely source of friction: 60 days from delivery, all bottles mailed back, return postage paid by you.

Kerassentials complaints are hard to read in detail, but one public signal is clear: the Better Business Bureau lists "Kerassentials Company" as not accredited with an F rating.[1] We could not open the BBB complaint text or Trustpilot, so we do not quote either. What we can report is where buyers are likely to run into trouble, based on the vendor's own refund and sales terms.

What do Kerassentials complaints and buyer reports say?

Public complaint detail for Kerassentials is thin. A BBB search on October 19, 2026 returned one result, Kerassentials Company, with an F rating and no accreditation.[1] The profile page itself returned an access error, so the number and wording of complaints are NOT checked.[2]

Trustpilot also blocked access, and the archived copy could not be loaded. Trustpilot is NOT checked.[3]

Federal databases gave no matches. openFDA showed no adverse event reports in CAERS and no recall records under the Kerassentials name.[4][5] That means nothing was filed under that brand name in those systems. It does not mean no buyer has had a problem, and FDA warning letters were NOT checked.

Where does Kerassentials buyer feedback come from?

Buyer feedback comes from four kinds of places, and each tells you something different. Sales-page testimonials come from the seller; BBB, Trustpilot and FDA databases come from outside it.

What do complaints usually focus on?

For an oil sold this way, the friction points are predictable from the terms: refunds, upsells, slow results and skin reactions. We did not read individual Kerassentials complaints, so the table lists what to verify, not what buyers said.

Complaint typeWhat it may indicateWhat to verify
Refund refused or reducedBottles not returned, or past 60 daysDelivery date, tracking on your return parcel[8]
Charged more than expectedUpsells accepted after checkout ($87, $174, $58)Each line on your BuyGoods receipt
No change in the nailVendor says "around 9-12 weeks"; its refund page says use 3 months[9]Whether 60 days of use fits your goal
Skin irritationLabel B includes menthol, camphor, clove and tea tree[10]Which label your bottle carries
Slow deliveryUS orders quoted at 5-7 working days[11]Tracking from the shipping email

If irritation starts, the label says to stop use. Our Kerassentials side effects guide covers the ingredients that can sting.

Can sales-page testimonials be trusted?

Sales-page testimonials should be read as advertising, because the seller picks them. The Kerassentials sales video shows three testimonials and says results are "based on 14,576 reviews!" and "over 95,000 Customers", with no source for either figure.[6]

The text page adds Month 1, Month 3 and Month 6 nail photos with no names or dates.[7] The testimonials also refer to "Dr. Langdon's method", and no doctor by that name is identified with credentials.

The FTC's endorsement guides say testimonials must reflect honest experience and that a seller should not imply unusual results are typical. A sales page cannot show you who was left out.

How do you judge a testimonial before believing it?

Judge a testimonial by what you can trace. If you cannot find the person, the date or the product used, read it as a claim.

Is the person identifiable?

A first name and a city cannot be checked. A full name with a reply to a public profile can.

Is there a date and a timeline?

Without dates, you cannot tell whether the result fits the 60-day refund window.

Does it match the label?

Claims about "Dr. Langdon's method" or "fungus self-destruct" go further than a label that states one amount, undecylenic acid 5%.[10]

Was anything else used?

Nails grow slowly, and other products or a prescription can explain a change. See a doctor right away if a nail becomes painful, red, swollen or leaks pus, or if you have diabetes or poor foot circulation.

What refund problems should you check before ordering?

Check three refund terms before ordering: the window, the mail-back rule and who pays postage. The sales video promises to "refund every single cent".[6]

  1. The window is 60 days from the day the order is delivered.[8]
  2. You email support with "Refund Request" in the subject.
  3. You mail back all bottles, empty or not, with a note and the packing slip, to 19655 E 35th Dr #100, Aurora, CO 80011.
  4. "We do not support the return shipping costs." Processing takes 5 to 10 days.

How we gathered this feedback

On October 19, 2026 we ran a BBB search, tried the BBB profile and Trustpilot (both blocked), and queried openFDA for adverse events and recalls. We read the vendor's sales video, text page, contact FAQ, refund and shipping pages and both label images the same day.

We did not buy the product or contact buyers. Our method is set out on how TonicNest checks products.

Our take on the feedback

The BBB F rating is a real warning sign, even without the complaint text. The refund terms add cost and effort that the sales page does not mention, and the testimonials cannot be traced.

If you still want to try the oil, keep your packing slip and receipt, decline upsells you did not plan for, and mark day 60 on a calendar. Read is Kerassentials legit for the seller checks.

Frequently asked questions

Are there complaints about Kerassentials?

BBB lists Kerassentials Company as not accredited with an F rating, which usually reflects complaint handling. We could not open the complaint text or Trustpilot on October 19, 2026, so the specific complaints were not checked.

What do Kerassentials consumer reports say?

No independent consumer testing of Kerassentials was found in our sources. The public signals are a BBB F rating, no openFDA adverse event or recall records under the brand name, and vendor testimonials that cannot be traced.

Why is it hard to get a Kerassentials refund?

The refund page requires an email titled Refund Request within 60 days of delivery, then every bottle, empty or not, mailed to Aurora, Colorado with the packing slip. Buyers pay return postage, and processing takes 5 to 10 days.

Are the Kerassentials testimonials real?

We cannot say. The sales pages show three testimonials and unattributed Month 1, 3 and 6 nail photos, plus figures like 95,000 customers with no source. None can be traced to a named person or date.

Can Kerassentials irritate skin?

The label says to stop use if irritation occurs and to avoid the eyes. Label B lists menthol, camphor, clove bud and tea tree oil, and both labels contain almond oil, so patch-test and check for tree-nut allergy.
